Gordon Guenter

After many years in the furniture and home décor business Gordon Guenter has taken yet another course in his career. His work has taken him to many countries around the world. Early days were spent in South East Asia discovering Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and Malaysia. As his interests in travel broadened his travels took him to Europe to discover a new perspective. Journeys included northern Europe and as far south as Greece. All his energies focused on his furniture business and the thought of photography never entered his mind. On a “real holiday” to Paris and the South of France with his wife, the imagery that was always in his head was translated to a series of photographs of which you will see on this website.

Gordon saw the possibilities of the stunning architecture and scenery that was available in this region. Upon his return he began to compile his work into a series of media and what you see here in this website is the result of his work. In addition to his collections from France you will be able to witness a broadening perspective of his travels. Additions will include Italy of which will be present on this site in August.

Gordon is also going through his archives of photos and resurrecting images from past trips. The growth of digital photography has allowed him to add these images from past travels to his collection. Gordon welcomes you to explore his website and visit the world through his eyes.
